i m starting a blog about my CAT preparations here...i wud like ppl to visit this page n help me out...point out where i am going wrong n where i m doin well...encouragement is wot i m looking for... let me start with my CAT related background..i m doing my bachelor's in chemical engineering from NIT Warangal..now this place warangal hasnt got a gud coaching centre for CAT.so i have been preparing on my own by and large...i took the correspondence course material frm IMS, but according to me tht alone wsnt sufficient and so i got a few more books like the "how to prepare for CAT" by Arun Sharma for verbal and quant.. although i m an engineer, i m better at verbal than at quant...therefore i am working harder at quant. may b it is fear or may b its my brains :) i dunno.. in a mock cat tht i gave in july last year i got 71 percentile, n this year i got an 87 percentile..so there is an improvement there...but i stil wasnt able to clear the cut offs in any of the section either because of silly mistakes or jz carelessness or lack of strategy. my preparation has been pretty on and off for almost a year but even now i m nt feeling the heat..i guess i need to work on my motivation levels.. thz it for now...m signing off! |
