In a test there are four sections – QA, DI, RC and EU. A candidate is declared to pass the test if and only if he passes in all four sections. We have the following information about the test

I. Number of people who appeared : 1867
II. Number of people who passed in exactly two sections : 232
III. Number of people who passed in exactly one section : 132
IV. Number of people who failed in all four sections : 292
V. Number of people who failed in QA only : 200
VI. Number of people who failed in DI only : 177
VII. Number of people who failed in EU only : 108
VIII. Number of people who failed in RC only : 211

Q1. The number of people who passed the test is
a. 515
b. 1211
c. 713
d. 537

Q2. The number of people who failed because of failing in more than two sections is
a. 216
b. 432
c. 928
d. 424

Q3. The number of people who failed in QA is
a. 200
b. 492
c. 711
d. Data insufficient
 

Q4. The number of people who failed in EU is
a. 400
b. 108
c. 732
d. Data insufficient

Soln. 1867-(232+132+292+200+177+108+211)=515
        So option (a) is correct....

Soln. Dos ppl who failed in 3 subjects=132, Who failed in 4 subjects=292..
        The number of people who failed because of failing in more than two sections is=(132+292)=424....
        So option (d) is correct....

Soln. Dou i dnt knw why my answer is nt in d option, bt im givin my answer...
        Ppl failed in Q.A. =ppl failed-ppl passed in Q.A=1352-(177+108+211)=956

Plz allow me to knw where it went wrong...

Soln.  At  last i got my mistake....
In d previous post i hv considerd
"ppl who fail in Q.A.=ppl failed-ppl passed in Q.A."
Bt its incorrect apprehension.[ppl describd in d region may pass in Q.A.]

So obviously data is inadequate... 
Option (d) is correct...

For nother problm above decesion remains same...
