Q1. b

Q2. d

Q3. b

Q5 answer

Let X and Y meet each other after time T.
Then the distance covered by X and Y, when they meet each others is 48T and TVy, respectively.

After that Y takes 3 and X takes 12 hours to reach A and B respectively.

          48T  = 3Vy
And    VyT = 48 * 12

=> 48/Vy = 3Vy/(48 * 12)

=> Vy = 96 (no answer)

But if we interchange the timings :  Y takes 12 and X takes 3 hours to reach A and B respectively.

Then
           48T  = 12Vy
And    VyT = 48 * 3

=> 48/Vy = 12Vy /(48 * 3)

=> Vy = 24 (ans d)

Either the options or the question needs some modification.
