Q1. The number of positive integral solutions of xyz = 30 is Q2. In a test of 10 multiple choice questions of one correct answer, each having 4 alternative answers, then the number of ways to put ticks at random for the answers to all the questions is Q3. There are 15 points in a plane of which 8 of them are on a straight line. Then how many straight lines can be formed? Q4. In how many ways can 120 students be divided into 3 sections of 30, 40, 50 each Q5. A box contains 6 red balls, 7 green balls and 5 blue balls. Each ball is of a different size. The probability that the red ball being selected is the smallest red ball, is Q6. A student is allowed to select at most x books ( x > 0) from a collection of (2x + 1) books. If the total number of ways in which he can select a book is 63, find the value of x? Q7. The number of ways of selecting 10 balls out of an unlimited number of white, red, blue and green balls is :

Q1. The number of positive integral solutions of xyz = 30
Soln.:
30=2*3*5
So x,y,z can take any values among 2,3,5 in 3 ways....
3^3=27 ways we can select d no.s......
So option (a) is correct....
Giv ur best to d world.
Nd d best will cm back to u......

Q4. In how many ways can 120 students be divided
Soln.:
The no. of ways are:120C30*(90C40 + 90C50) + 120C40(80C30+80C50) +120C50(70C30+70C50)
=120!*3/30!40!50!
So option (d) is correct....

Q6. A student is allowed to select at most x books ( x > 0)
Soln.:He can select in:
2x+1C1+2x+1C2+...+2x+1Cx=2^2x-2x+1C0 =2^2x-1 ways
According to the qs
2^2x-1=63
=>x=3
So option (a) is correct....
