Solve this:Consider the following-f(x)= x2+3xg(x)=3x+4
For what value of f[g(x)] has its minimum value ,a) 0 b) -11/2 c) -11/6 d) None of these
Ans: a) 0
n/a
here f(g(x))=9x^2+33x+28
d f(g(x))/dx so x=-11/6 so equation minimum at -11/6
Little Star
Thats the problem even I am getting -11/6, but the answer given is 0 thats why I got confused ... I am not in touch with maxima minima for long...so I thought that it seems I have even forgotten the basics of this topic..
