Like in GMAT, do IIMs also get the previous 3 CAT scores?
Hi,
I heard that the institutes that accept GMAT score will get the last 3 GMAT scores of a candidate. Have a query if IIMs also get the scores of last 3 CAT attempts.
For the last 2 months I have been preparing for interviews for a job change/promotion and was not focussed on CAT preparation. I am weak at quant and there is yet a lot that I have to prepare on. So, wondering if I have to go with CAT this time or attempt the next year. I am planning to attempt it this year if IIMs do not come to know the previous CAT scores else planning to skip it. Not sure if this is a good idea. However, I think if I get a low score this time and a very good score next year(as I will be preparing sincerely), then I might have to explain the board the reason behind it (if they come to know my previous CAT scores) and they might think that I am a person who goes for things without enough preparation.
