I. b = 0 II. a = c III. Either b = 0 and or c = a
a. I
b. II
c. All three
d. None of these

a. Rs. 400 b. Rs. 500 c. Rs. 600 d. Rs. 300

if total donation=y
so from data, 0.6*800=y*0.75
so y=640

now average donation of 40% student is x,   0.60*800+.40*x=640      so x=400

a. 6.4 b. 5 c. 8 d. 7.2

dry in freshX =.80*9=7.2

dry in dry X=.9*7.2=6.4

Here Confsion we have to find dryportion of dry x or only Dry x

 9 kg of fresh x ‘ll

9 kg of fresh x ‘ll contain – 9 x 0.8a = 7.2a value of x

And with 7.2a value of x we can make 7.2a/.9 = 8kg of fresh x

ans of q4

Q4.In a class 60% of the students donated Rs. 800 each and hence contributed 75% of the total donations. What is the average donation of the remaining students?
a. Rs. 400 b. Rs. 500 c. Rs. 600 d. Rs. 300
let us assume no of students as 100.
nw 60 students donated 800 each
donation by 60 students=48000(60*800)
total donation by 100 students=48000*(4/3)=64000
donations by 40 student=(64000-48000)=16000
so average donation by remaining students=(16000)/40=400

Q3.If the radius of a circle is increased by 50%, then what is the percentage increase in its area?
a. 225% b. 200% c. 125% d. 100%
let radius =r
so new radius=1.5r
so area=(pi)(1.5r^2)=2.25(pi)(r^2)
so % increase=(1.25(pi)(r^2)/(pi)(r^2))*100=125%

question no.1

I think the asnwer is a=c.
Let a=10, b=20
then 20*10/100=2

According to the question a% of b=b% of c.

Therefore, a%of b =2
so, 2 = 20/100*c
2 = 1/5*c
2*5 = c
c = 10 = a
a= c
