I don’t think any one preparing for MBA in india would miss a chance in joining an institute like IIFT.( May be except Few IIT Toppers)
IIMs are the best no doubt
but XLRI, FMS, IIFT, JBIMS, SP JAIN and some what MDI are also in the same league.
Though I ‘ll not be appearing IIFT/XAT
Only CAT and FMS are in my target. May be JMET

The 2006 IIFt paper was the hardest of all MBA admission entrance papers !!!!...... So u have a point.
