Few months back those media persons who were criticizing ICL as a pipe dream now started writing it as a flop show. I am not sure if I like the concept but surely I won’t give a verdict unless I see what they do to the game of cricket in INDIA. We all Indians proud to be a great cricket experts and I would love to see people giving equal respect to both the cricketing organization in India - BCCI and ICL.
Both are private organization but form the inception I can see some level of transparency in ICL which can never come to BCCI. The people who are in the helm of all the responsibilities are creditworthy and showing interest in development of cricket in India and I wont mind if they earn something out of it. Even I wont mind it to be listed in NSE/BSE.
My sincere request to you all – pleas give a chance to all these guys. If some thing new is happening then first try it before saying its bad taste. And never ever think that if a person like aj** jad*** don’t know a cricketer then he his not cricketer worth watching. I really doubt the knowledge level of these sort of crik-media persons – who can say/do anything for the sake of money.
I am a sport lover and‘ll always cheer any new promising development in the sports arena of this country if it’s done in right spirit. And please stop comparing Kaplid Dev and Co. with SRK and Co. - I have come across such a stupid comparison of the movie Chak De with the newly born ICL – Any how chak de had not a single representative from the state which is current national champions and had dominated the women hockey for last many decades. The reason was simple it was a poor state and the producer never expected 1-2% of the total revenue coming from there.
I hope ICL ‘ll not follow the path of NFL and PHL.
