Q1 Explanation

To win at SOURAV turn there should be 1 coin Left

To win Sachin Should have 2 - 7 coins in his turn

for 2 conis Sachin would pick 1 coin

for 3 conis Sachin would pick 2 coin

. . .

for 7 conis Sachin would pick 6 coin

So before that Sourav should have 8 coins so that what ever coins left sachin would pick in accordance to leave the last coin for Sourav to pick.

Proceed similarly as shown in left diagram and the answer is 1 (asn a)

Anyhow guys it took me more than 25 mins to draw the diagram and writing this post

As per the explanation given for Q1 the person with 1/8/15/22/29/36 coins losses the game

So SOURAV should remove 38 – 36 = 2 coins to win the game (ans c)
