How to Apply? 
 
Step-I : Register for SNAP Test, on www.snaptest.org. Get the SNAP ID. Last date Nov. 25, 2007.

Step-II : Download the application form and fill the details.

Step-III : Send the filled application form, a crossed demand draft of Rs.1100/- in favour of " Symbiosis Center for Information Technology" payable at Pune with your name and SNAP ID on the reverse.

Step-IV : Send to SCIT the envelope containing
1. Duly filled Application Form
2. Duly filled in Challan
3. Crossed DD with Name and Snap ID on the reverse
4. Two stamp-size photographs and
5. Two self-addressed labels mentioning address, telephone numbers and email-IDs     clearly.

Number of Seats  
Total Seats: 165
Reservation within intake:
SC: 15%
ST: 7.5%
Management Seats: 15%
Physically Handicapped: 3%
Over and above the within intake: Jammu and Kashmiri Migrants: 2 seats per programme.
All Management seats attract 2-times tuition fees. For admission to Management seats applications should be made directly to President, Symbiosis Society, S. B. Road, Pune 411004. Any vacancies in the Management seats will be filled by those in the Open Category as per the merit  

Fee Structure
 
Fees:
Rs. 1,60,000/- Year-I of MBA
Rs. 1,48,000/- Year-II of MBA

Hostel: Rs. 25,000/- per year
Mess: Rs. 20,000/- per year
Hostel Deposit: Rs. 5000/- 

Note: For residential programmes, Hostel and Mess charges are taken on annualized basis after considering all vacations.

Payment: Fees are to be paid twice in a year in the first week of June and November after the admission. The fees may be revised marginally for the next year according to costs & expenses involving inflation and also when more academic and other facilities / infrastructure etc. are added. 

Mode of Payment: Any payment should be made through a crossed demand draft in favour of " Symbiosis Centre for Information Technology " and payable at Pune . No cash payment is accepted . 

  Eligibility Criteria for Admission
 
A graduate from any statutory University recognized by UGC with minimum 50% of marks or equivalent grades if grades are given (45% for SC/ST Candidates). Candidates passing degree examination by part time/correspondence course, or in one sitting are not eligible. Candidates appearing for Final year bachelor's degree examinations may apply but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks.

For MBA in Software Development and Management and MBA in Networks & IT Infrastructure preference will be given to graduates with Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology or Electronics and relevant work experience.
