CAT 2007: IIM lists 40 suspects

Two fake students were arrested while appearing CAT 2007 in Chandigarh.  Police took the action after IIMC lodging a complaint regarding the possibility of few students appearing the exam on phony names.

Dinesh Varma, the chief administrative officer of IIM Calcutta said
 “During the physical verification of the forms, we had doubts about 40-odd application forms due to some discrepancies. So, we lodged a complaint with Thakurpukur police station,”
According to Varma, all the dubious application forms had Chandigarh as the examination centre.
