NMAT test to be conducted on 30th December 2007 (for admission into the 2008-2010
batch) will be based on the following pattern.
Pattern
• NMAT will have 3 sections viz. Language Skills, Quantitative Skills, Data
Analysis & Sufficiency and Intelligence & Logical Reasoning
• The total time for the test is 120 minutes.
• The test will have sectional cut-offs and there is a negative marking of 0.25 per
question.
• There will be NO General Awareness section this year.

• After the GD / PI round, the offers will be made to successful candidates on the
basis of the ranks obtained. The ranks would be assigned on the basis of the
candidate’s performance in NMAT, GD / PI scores & work experience including
academic performance etc.
