In the given figure ABCD is a parallelogram P is a point on the extended line DA such that PQ = 73.5, QR = 11.2 what ‘ll be the length of  RC?


a. 30.8
b. 44.1
c. 25.9
d. 21.9
e. 32.8

 triangle PAQ ~ CBQ  (AA) i.e PA /CB = PQ /CQ ---- (1)
Now , Triangle PDR ~ CBR (AA) that implies PD / CB = PR / CR
=>( PA+CB ) / CB = PR /CR
=> PA / CB + 1 = PR / CR
=> PQ /CQ + 1 = PR /CR    -------from (1)
Now, Split CQ = CR + QR
and solve further u r done .
CR comes out to be 30.8
Hence, the answer is (a) .
