Prashant thought of a 4-digit number. He multiplied it by 12. He added 39 to it. He subtracted 36 dozens from that number and he multiplied the resultant number with 24. The number that he got was 25 x 2536. He cannot see digit x because the calculator was malfunctioning. What is digit x from among the choice given?
a. 2
b. 4
c. 6

the answer is b.4
cuz 24 = 2*2*2*3 so the resultant number shd be divisible by 3.the choices are 1,4,7. By elimination it is 4.
